You are invited to attend a public information session about the development of a new Capital Plan for the Waterloo Region District School Board.

The Ministry of Education requires all school boards to prepare a capital plan that sets out future plans for providing school accommodation. These include proposals for new schools, additions or renovations at existing schools, and consolidating schools in areas of declining enrolment.

We are at the early stages of developing this new plan, which will take the next six months to a year to prepare. The development of this plan will be focused on developing long-term effective strategies and will take into consideration population and growth patterns across this region. We are interested in hearing your ideas and suggestions to assist us with the development of this plan.
